Advanced Facial Massage

You'll develop a deeper understanding of facial anatomy, muscular structure and soft tissue, exploring how muscle tension, movement and restriction can influence the way the face looks and feels.

Practical training focuses on advanced hands-on techniques for muscle release, mobilisation, sculpting and lifting, teaching you how to vary your pressure, pace and movement depending on the area you're working on and what you identify during treatment.

Rather than performing the same facial massage on every client, you'll learn to read the face in front of you, recognise areas of tension and adapt your techniques accordingly.

This gives you the knowledge to make your treatments more intentional — choosing techniques based on what you see and feel, rather than simply working through a memorised routine.

Buccal Massage

Buccal massage changes the way you work with the face. By working intraorally, you can access and manipulate the cheek and jaw muscles from inside the mouth — giving you another level of control over areas of tension that external facial massage alone can't offer.

You'll learn how to combine internal and external massage techniques, working through the cheeks, jaw and lower face to release tension, mobilise tissue and create visible sculpting through skilled manual work.

You'll understand the facial anatomy you're working with, what you're feeling beneath your hands, where to work, how much pressure to use and when you shouldn't treat at all.

Facial Lymphatic Drainage

You'll develop an understanding of the facial lymphatic system, including the key lymphatic pathways of the face and neck, lymph nodes and how fluid moves through the tissues. You'll explore why direction, pressure, rhythm and sequence matter, and how changing the way you work can influence the effectiveness of the technique.

Then you'll put that knowledge into your hands and learn how to work with the lymphatic system, understanding where you're directing fluid, why you're working in a particular direction and what you should be feeling beneath your hands.

Our practical facial lymphatic drainage training teaches you how to incorporate these techniques into a professional facial treatment to help address the appearance of puffiness and fluid retention, while creating a treatment that feels intentional from beginning to end.
